NOTHING! ServiceQuoter is FREE to all customers with
no obligation to accept any quote you receive.
How does it work?
Simply let us know what type of work you need done.
We immediately send you details of the most relevant
companies. We also forward your details to them.
How soon will I be contacted?
You will usually be contacted within 24 hours.
Do I have to use the companies who contact me?
No. You are under no obligation to accept any quotes
you are given. You are more than welcome to ask us
to search again for alternate companies.
Where do you get company references from?
From people like you. To become a registered
contractor, trade professionals must allow us to take the names of 3 referees they have done
work for. We then check these out independently.
When contractors become registered to this service,
their performance is regularly appraised by their
new clients, reporting back to us. The only
exception to this is when a contractor is a member
of a trade association or competent person scheme
such as
Fensa,
The Glass and Glazing Federation,
Corgi etc.
Who do I pay for the work completed by a company?
All payments are made direct to the company
involved. ServiceQuoter is at no time involved in
any contractual or monetary issues between customers
and companies
Does ServiceQuoter guarantee work done by companies?
No. All companies are subject to the screening
process described above and most are members of reputable trade associations
or schemes such as
Corgi and
Fensa. ServiceQuoter and
Trading Standards
also recommend looking at the Government-backed
TrustMark Scheme when making improvements and
repairs to your home.
